Welcoming, sociable and helpful staff. Excellent cleanliness and appearance of hotel. Good location near beach but away from busy roads/noisy bars.
The hotel has nice a family setting with an outside swimming pool and hotel staff is nice.
Hotel towels are old, bathroom shower design is weird, breakfast service has very limit supply. Wifi is only available in bar area.
Pretty much everything. Small rooms , no storage / draw space. No shade around pool. "Free" sunbeds at private beach , complete lie , not free at all..
Lovely staff, friendly. Able to assist in booking car hire, tours etc.
It is not in the best location. It is best if you have a car. The other towns are nicer, busier and closer to other tourist locations.
Beautiful design and very nice staff. They make you having a great time!
Not suitable if you're allergic to cats as kittens were strolling around the pool area.
the Amelie hotel is exactly as shown in the photographs, really cute decor and very clean rooms/bathroom. the breakfast is served outside by the poolside each morning with stunning views of the mountains and surrounded by bouganvilea flowers. the pool is small but we had it to ourselves about 70% of the time , it was like being in your own private villa. the hotel is very quiet, there is not much nightlife around but it is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a clean, pretty hotel.
Staff were very friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean, sheets changed daily (which is possibly a little unneccessary). Great pool area. Close to restaurants, market & beach at Perissa.
Mario the manager was great. He responded quickly to all the questions I had via email and very helpful for recommendations. Even though it was after check out, he let me use an available room to shower before my ferry to my next destination. The black beach, Perissa, is a short walk away and had different spots for families to beach volleyball for the younger crowd.
The hotel was far from some of the touristy areas, but this can be a good or bad depending on what you wanted to experience. Either way it's pretty easy to go to Fira, the very touristy area, via bus or ATV/scooter/car.
Owner and staff very friendly and the price was right.
The location of the hotel is more in between a residential area. It is 5 min walk from the beach, but it is on the other side of the island and is far from main tourist areas. Also requested a transfer or assistance with one, but had to make our own way to the hotel.
